Candidates will have a degree in a related field, a minimum of 1 year experience with accounting / payroll, excellent computer skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties:
- Creating invoices and reconciling with accounts receivable, accounts payable.
- Prepare and make bank deposits.
- Preparing local and state taxes, preparing reports for federal tax return.
- Responding to unemployment claims and replying to Jobs & Family Services.
- Updating payroll records and submitting payroll information for processing.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- An experience with ADP or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Salary will be based on experience.
Skills:
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Proficiency in MS office.
